The Incomparable….
The Ultimate Blues, Jazz, R&B song stylist
Freddie B; an award- winning artist, possesses a deep, rich, distinctive baritone. Smooth and so soothing…when closing your eyes, you are reminded of great jazz vocal icons such as Lou Rawls, Will Downing, And Arthur Prysock. Freddie B’s latest engagement was a show in the Duomo Room at the Rio Hotel/Casino titled, Cotton Club Revue. Freddie paid tribute to Cab Calloway and Joe Williams in the show that he co-produced. Before this show, he also starred in a long running show at Bally’s Hotel/Casino on the Las Vegas strip. He paid tribute to Mr. Lou Rawls in that show and received standing ovations as he did in Cotton Club Revue.
Because he is a talented and unique stylist, he leaves his audiences mesmerized and inspired with his fresh approach and renditions. As a result, Freddie B sold out multiple performances of his self-styled vintage show entitled “Sentimental Journey”, a performance paying tribute to legendary singers. His sold-out shows came amidst rave reviews that led to him becoming a headliner at the famous Las Vegas Sahara-Hotel Casino.
Other Las Vegas venues include the world- renowned Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Sun Coast Casino, Aliante Hotel-Casino, Boyd Gaming Properties; and others as well as, The Resorts Casino in Atlantic City and many clubs and venues in Chicago, Freddie’s home town.
Freddie B has performed in many Jazz and Blues festivals/venues, radio and television. Freddie’s latest Jazz Cd was partially co-produced with Tom Schuman of Spyro Gyra and boasts a performance by Paul Jackson Jr. You can check his album and other performances out on his EPK.
